Types of Stress – It Makes a Difference!

Each of us are influenced in different ways by stress. It is very important to understand there are different types of stress. Our world is completely full of stress, home life, marriage, youngsters, work, bills and relationships all bring a degree of stress. Stress has an impact on everyone differently, while a job related stress might be one I'm taking in walk while a wedding debate may send my stress level skyward. There are 3 main types of stress, acute stress, episodic stress and protracted stress.

Acute Stress

Acute stress is easily the one we are facing the most. It is routinely shorter in nature and often it occurs on a daily basis. Some acute stress can be exciting, skiing down a hill, flying in a hot-air ballon or witnessing an exciting sports occassion. Although it may cause some level of stress to the body the result's routinely an adrenaline hit and not an adverse emotional or physical reaction.

Acute stress that is negative and may cause us harm occurs generally from daily events. A disgruntled administrator, an unhappy wife, a child who simply won't clean their room. This sort of stress is awfully controllable.

Episodic Stress

Episodic Stress frequently is derived from the character of the individual for instance a Type A person who has to get things done and it has got to be done there way and now. They're frequently extraordinarily targeted and awfully controlling. Often times they can generate stress not only to themselves but to everyone concerned. High blood pressure, headaches, and sometimes even heart attacks can come from episodic stress.

Chronic Stress

The 3rd type of stress is chronic stress and it is by some way the most devastating type of stress. It's the neverending stress where the bad things of life seem to keep coming like sea waves, one after another. The stress and the physical ware on the body accumulates year by year and it’s affects can be awful. I have been there and it's no fun. One wave of bad after another. You begin to think life is biased and you wonder if you can take one more bad event in your life.
