Depression takes on many forms and can be often described in unique words. There is no escape from the periodic feelings of frustration and perhaps depression, so we all know the feelings can be highly distinctive. But we are chatting about people who are clinically or chronically depressed. One common experience or feeling the chronically despondent person has is a strong, or overwhelming, lack of any joy in life. It is tough because that is what each day is like; experienced with no real joy about anything. I think the majority of people understand how hard it is to decrease the consequences of depression. But naturally there is hope, and that is one point you should never lose sight of because depression can be handled.

There is more to Obsessive Compulsive Disorder than just an individual who do his task paying extreme attention on details, doing things in an extra careful manner, exhibits a meticulous behavior or is have a perfectionist attitude towards things. OCD illness is composed of two parts, having obsessive thoughts which include anxiety, worry or fear and doing compulsive, time-consuming actions to stop their obsessive thoughts. Although the ritual may make the anxiety go away temporarily, the person must perform the ritual again when the obsessive thoughts returns.

To conquer self defeating behaviour we need some form of order or path to follow. The A’s are a good way of centering the behaviour and our thinking.
