A System Of Hands On Healing

An ancient and natural hands on healing technique was rediscovered in the late nineteenth Century by a doctor in Japan. A treatment can be self-administered, given to other people and even performed on animals. Like many forms of complementary therapy, it is believed to induce a state of relaxation and recovery in the body on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual dimensions.

Unlike other branches of spiritual therapy, this therapy is founded in non-religious philosophy, involving the practitioner channelling the universal life force energy which naturally balances and heals the patient. During this process the practitioner is not sapped of energy, as in other forms of ’spiritual healing’, but acts as a conduit for the energy.

While hands on healing was, in the past, largely scoffed at; it is now becoming more widely accepted. In 1995, there was over a million practitioners in the world, and now the treatments are being offered next to massages and pedicures in many health spas.

In recent decades scientists went from being convinced that there was no energy field around the human body to being convinced that such fields do exist and are medically important. In 1963, the electromagnetic field of the heart was first measured. Since bodily tissues conduct electricity, the currents set up by the brain, muscles and nerves will produce electromagnetic fields in the space around the body.

To channel this energy, practitioners undergo a series of special treatments. Like a radio needs to be given the frequency to connect to a station, the practitioner is given the energetic frequency. It is suggested that this is remembered by the practitioner’s energy field in much the same way as water remembers the energetic signature of a substance in homeopathy.

This memory process can be explained as akin to the memory of water in homeopathy; imprinted with the substance’s electromagnetic blueprint, the molecular structure of the water is believed to be altered, even when the substance has long been removed. The water in the human body may retain the frequencies in this way. ‘The Healing Power of Water’ further explores this premise.

A full treatment lasts around 60-90 minutes and is suitable for anyone. In hands on healing, the energy is not projected onto the patient, but is offered. The patient takes whatever it needs, on an unconscious level; thus the therapy can never cause detrimental outcomes. It is a transformational energy that works on the past, present and future, and always leads to greater harmony and well-being.
