Everyone knows that they have felt anxious at some time in their life. It may be when they are waiting to be seen at a job interview, that first time performing on stage or building up the courage to ask someone out. But there is a difference between feeling a little nervous or anxious and having an anxiety attack symptom.

Bipolar syndrome or what is popularly known as manic-depression syndrome is a psychiatric disorder that greatly affects the mood of the person. The person with bipolar disorder usually experiences severe mood swings and these extreme mood swings affect how the individual leads his or her life. Alternating high and low emotions such as undergoing clinical depression one moment to being extremely excited the next is a good example of bipolar disorder. If this condition is not treated, it can lead to serious consequences to the entire family and may even result in suicide.

For the majority of us, going to work is a chore and it’s not something we look forward to, especially after a relaxing weekend. We don’t have a choice and money is a necessity in today’s world. Perhaps spending 70% of your life in a confined work environment might be bliss to some, but by and large, we do certainly wish we were somewhere else – like the Polynesian islands.
